These two geldings came with the property. Malibu (brown) is a sassy little stinker that loves attention.

Waco is the complete opposite. He is scared of his own shadow and really wants to be loved but doesn't know how to accept the love. He's a work in progress.

Meet Beauty

Beauty holds a special place as the very first resident at Hooves Haven. After surviving an arduous path, she reached North Texas in July 2026. Her journey represents a powerful narrative of survival and the transformative power of compassion. Though she arrived severely neglected and near death, a dedicated caregiver helped her gain nearly 400lbs before she joined our family. Today, her radiant spirit truly lives up to her name. Having her at our sanctuary is a gift, and she radiates a sense of calm to all of us who have the honor of knowing her.
